Problem

Develop a system to achieve target output speed of a hybrid powertrain with varying inputs from a compressed air engine and electric motor.

Process

1. Develop compressed air engine valve control profile to maintain constant compressed air engine target speed.
2. Evaluate provided system load profile to determine electric motor input required to maintain target system output speed.
3. Use Simulink to monitor and control dual input and single system output speeds.
